International Promotions secured placements for Caterpillar (CAT), Ben & Jerry’s, and Happenstance Whiskey in Lifetime’s new film A Carpenter Christmas Romance starring Sasha Pieterse (Pretty Little Liars, X-Men: First Class), Mitchell Slaggert (Landman, Gossip Girls, The Sex Lives of College Girls).
The film follows fantasy novelist Andrea as she retreats to her late grandfather’s farmhouse after a fan backlash, reconnecting with her former fling, Seth, a reformed handyman. Their rekindled romance renews her belief in happy endings.
The film’s red carpet premiere was held last night, December 18th, at the Landmark Theatres Sunset in West Hollywood, California. The stars, cast, crew, and attendees were greeted, on the red carpet, by two male models styled as sexy construction workers in boots, denim overalls, CAT branded hats and helmets.
The following screening featured numerous CAT placements across multiple product categories. CAT branding was seen on t-shirts, jackets, and vests including a two and half minute long placement during which star Mitchell Slaggert wears a grey t-shirt with CAT’s classic yellow logo. One of CAT’s iconic pieces of heavy equipment, an excavator, was featured in addition to a CAT toy bull-dozer and a CAT branded thermos.
For Happenstance Whiskey, a women-owned distillery based in Nashville, International Promotions secured a 30 second placement for a bottle of Happenstance Whiskey in a romantic moment between leads Andrea (Sasha Pieterse) and Seth (Mitchell Slaggert). Afterwards, the pair eat ice cream provided by one of International Promotion’s oldest clients, Ben & Jerry’s, while discussing their future!
