Building on the character’s visibility and the success of 2022’s The Batman, Max launched the sequel streaming series The Penguin, a grounded amalgam of crime and superhero stories starring Colin Farrell (Minority Report, Miami Vice) as The Penguin and Cristin Milioti (The Wolf of Wall Street, Black Mirror). The season finale garnered 2.1 million viewers on its release day alone, a 10% increase from the previous episode’s day-of total of 1.9 million and a 50% increase from the premiere episode’s day-of total. Overall, as of mid-November 2024, The Penguin accrued 17 million views!
International Promotions handled the product placement of long-time client Snap-on in episode seven of The Penguin, placing the brand in front of the series’s tens of millions of fans. In Gotham’s underground, Snap-on roll cabs line the walls as The Penguin and his crew face off against his rival, Salvatore Maroni, played by Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption, Starship Troopers).
